How fees work
What you pay depends on how you pay. Each answer is here in plain words, and the front desk goes through yours before your first visit.
Insurance we work with
We bill many kinds of plans and tell you whether we are in network with yours before you book. The list is by type of plan, not by company, and our front desk checks your plan card. Some school and club sports carry their own accident coverage, so ask us whether it applies.
Most PPO plans
Employer plans
Medicaid plans
Auto injury coverage
If you pay yourself
If you do not use insurance, you pay for each visit on the day. We tell you the fee before you book, and we do not bill your plan. We keep a few reduced-fee spots for athletes whose families need them. Ask the front desk.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written estimate before your first visit: what we expect each visit to cost and what it includes. This is your right under federal law, and you can ask for it any time. If the final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute it.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits and calls you before your first visit. Your plan has the final say on what it pays, and your copay, deductible and coinsurance are set by your plan. The form on this site asks for your name, phone and email only.
What the first visit includes
Your first visit is about an hour with a physical therapist. They listen, watch you move, examine you, explain what they find and agree on a plan with you. They also explain the risks and the choices. What you do not decide that day: how many visits, or when you play again.
Questions about paying
Do you work with school or club sport insurance?
Some do carry accident coverage. Ask your athletic director or club, then ask our front desk to check it. We tell you what we find before you book.
Will I know the fee before the first visit?
Yes. If you pay yourself, we give you a written estimate before your first visit. If you use insurance, our front desk tells you what your plan says before you come in.
Can I get a receipt to send to my plan?
Yes. We can give you an itemized receipt, sometimes called a superbill. Your plan may or may not reimburse you, so check with it first.
Want to know what it would cost you?
Call the front desk. We check your plan and tell you what to expect.
